Maintaining the right pH level in your hot tub is crucial for both water quality and bathing comfort. Large variations in pH level are often caused by low alkalinity in the water. With DELPHIN Spa Alka Up, you can raise the alkalinity and thereby stabilize the pH level, making it easier to adjust and maintain the right balance in the water.

The recommended alkalinity level in hot tubs is between 80–120 mg/l (ppm).

Test water values regularly

For the best water quality, you should regularly check the hot tub’s water values. Always test:

• pH level
• disinfection level

We also recommend checking the alkalinity regularly. How often the water should be tested depends on how much the hot tub is used, but as a guideline, tests should be done at least once a week.

Dosage

To raise alkalinity by 10 ppm, add:

20 g (approximately 4 teaspoons) per 1000 liters of water

1. Dissolve the product in a bucket of water.
2. Pour the solution slowly into the tub.
3. Wait approximately 30 minutes and test the alkalinity again.
4. Repeat the dosage if needed.

Important information when using

• Always dissolve the product in water before adding it to the hot tub.
• Do not use the same teaspoon for food.
• Never mix this chemical in dry form with other chemicals.

• Keep out of reach of children.
• Store the product upright in the original packaging.
• Store in a cool, dry, and dark place.
